Defending Eswatini’s Digital Frontiers,
One Flag at a Time.
Eswatini’s nationwide cybersecurity initiative bringing together 130+ students, developers, and security enthusiasts for hands-on CTF challenges and peer mentorship across Hhohho, Manzini, Lubombo, and Shiselweni.
Sovereign Cyber Defense for the Kingdom
Fostering local cybersecurity talent, ethical research, and digital resilience across all four regions of Eswatini.
Cybersecurity is no longer an isolated technical concern—it is a cornerstone of national digital sovereignty. CTF eSwatini was established as a grassroots initiative to bridge the gap between theoretical computing education and practical, real-world defensive skills.
What started as a founding cohort of 130+ students, self-taught developers, and IT practitioners is growing into a nationwide network. By providing free, hands-on lab environments and structured challenges, we equip Swazi tech talent to protect infrastructure, discover vulnerabilities ethically, and build sustainable careers in tech.
Our challenges are written and maintained by our own members, and they span nine domains, from cryptography and forensics to mobile security and reverse engineering. Every participant learns how real attacks work, how to spot weaknesses in systems, and how to defend against them, starting from Linux and networking fundamentals and building towards advanced exploit analysis.
Beyond the platform, we grow through peer mentorship and student-led campus guilds. Experienced members guide newcomers through writeup sessions and team debriefs, while chapters at universities and colleges take cyber skills into classrooms, so the next generation of defenders has somewhere to start, wherever in the Kingdom they live.
Ethical Standard (White-Hat First)
We strictly enforce authorized, sandbox-only testing principles. Our platform teaches security methodologies to build defenders, not bad actors.
Open & Inclusive
No barriers to entry—whether you are a university undergrad, a high school student, or an active software engineer, everyone in Eswatini has a place in our community.
